Confederation of British Industry (CBI) 
The CBI's mission is to help create and sustain the conditions in which businesses in the United Kingdom can compete and prosper for the benefit of all.

Federation of Small Businesses 
The FSB represents the interests of the self-employed and small businesses and aims to promote and further the interests of these throughout the UK.

The Labour Research Department (LRD)
Independent, trade union based research organisation. Provides research for trade union and labour movement on many topics in the economic, political and industrial fields.

Trade Union Congress (TUC)
The TUC is the voice of Britain at work. With 70 affiliated unions representing nearly seven million working people from all walks of life, we campaign for a fair deal at work and for social justice at home and abroad.

Business Link 
An organisation set up to provide practical advice for businesses.

Central Arbitration Committee 
CAC is a permanent independent body with statutory powers whose main function is to adjudicate on applications relating to the statutory recognition and derecognition of trade unions for collective bargaining purposes, where such recognition or derecognition cannot be agreed voluntarily.

DTI - Employment Relations 
Is working to develop a framework for employers and employees which promotes a skilled and flexible labour market founded on principles of partnership. It deals with relationships between workers and their employers, including individual rights as well as collective arrangements.

Employment Tribunals
Employment Tribunals resolve disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. The website has information on how to apply to an employment tribunal and what to do if you have to appear before one.

Government Gateway 
Is the website you use to register for online government services. It is an important part of the government's strategy of delivering 'joined up' government, enabling people to communicate and make transactions with government from a single point of entry.

Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
Britain's Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are responsible for the regulation of almost all the risks to health and safety arising from work activity in Britain.

Local Business Link
Business Link is an easy to use business support, advice and information service managed by the DTI. Local presence across England, managed by business people for business people, means we are uniquely placed to identify business support services from across the government, voluntary and private sectors.

Low Pay Commission 
Is an independent statutory non departmental public body set up under the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 to advise the Government about the National Minimum Wage.

National Minimum Helpline

Access Association
The Access Association's aims is to improve access and facilities for disabled people and consequently for all people whom would benefit from an accessible environment.

Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from over 3,200 locations, and by influencing policymakers.

Commission for Racial Equality
